I wouldn't say I'm opposed to the idea. I like how it virtually mimics a traditional reading exercise you would have while reading and it feels nice watching the page move in a 3D manner. But it does feel odd and kind of distracts me and I stop and break my focus.

I am page turning team. I prefer turning pages as this gives me an essence of real book!

I actually prefer turning pages, but with how things are now, it’s much easier to access digital books, so I’ve become more of a scroller lately.

I have a kindle, so unfortunately I'm forced to page-turn, however, on any of those pay per chapter apps, I prefer scrolling down. It's just easier nowadays to have that compared to page turning. I hated giving creases to my books for pushing down on the spine to page turn too.

I like scrolling as it keeps my eyes focused in one area and I feel like my eyes get less tired if they are not moving so much. Also, I'm not too keen on the animation (or lack thereof) of the page turning on the e-readers. Don't get me wrong, sometimes the animation of the page turning can be cool to look at, but not for long periods of time.

I read a lot in my phone where, up until very recently, I could only scroll, so I'm really used to that. Now sometimes I use the page turning option, but I think I have so internalized the scroll movement that whenever I am reading instead of turning pages I try to scroll only to open the page menu or highlight a paragraph instead haha.

I am also a scroller! I'm not sure why but the motion of swiping the page on the screen feels more finicky and less smooth. The transition still feels off to me. Being able to swipe downwards feels more natural on a digital medium. Even in my youth reading fan fiction on my phone, I remember I would have the infinite-scroll on, haha. However, I do enjoy a good physical copy and flipping pages in anticipation.

I love the page turner. It makes me feel like I'm reading a physical book in a way.

I'm definitely a page turner. For some reason, that just reminds me more of reading an actual physical book. Also, there is less change of accidentally scrolling too far ;P

I am a page turner. I love flipping through electronic/digital pages of a book. It makes me feel like I'm reading the hard copy of a book.

I have tried both ways, and I definitely prefer "turning" the page. It feels more like the authentic reading experience for some reason. I think it allows me to get into a certain rhythm while reading which I lose when I am scrolling.
