I preferably would like to read a book that is physically on my hands. I read fast and I feel good reading in paperback. :P

I think reading is reading no matter what device you use. Reading on kindle has the advantage that you can read at night when you are already in bed but, at the same time, holding a book in your hand does bring certain emotions to the whole process

If under the same circumstances I think I read faster with my Kindle. I think it is because it tells me how long I have left in the chapter so I always finish it rather than with a papaerback I can just pick it up and put it down. It also tells you the percentage of the book that you are in so puts pressure on you. A good pressure!

I find it easier to focus with a paperback but I could read the both at the same rate. The paperback just adds a little spice to my reading because of the touch and smell of the paper. And the idea of touching the words without disturbing your reading

I find reading with my phone is faster because I take it everywhere with me. I don't always carry a bag.

I think I read E-books faster than paperbacks. When reading an E-book, you can adjust the font size etc. which I think is really convenient. On the other hand, I tend to take my time when reading paperbacks. I guess it depends on one's preferences and reading habits.

I read Paperbacks much faster than an eBook. I cannot sit in front of a laptop for hours and I have to take frequent breaks in between But, while reading a paperback I don't have to do that.

I definitely read faster with a paperback. I think being able to see and feel my progress makes a difference. I was reading A Little Life (which is a lengthy book) a while ago on my Kindle and I just couldn't get into it. It seemed like I would read for hours and I'd only be another percentage or two in. I was getting very frustrated because it was a book I had to finish for book club. I finally borrowed a hardcover copy from a friend and all of a sudden I started really enjoying the book. I could tell I was making progress and there's also just something about being able to turn real pages.

I prefer a paperback for novels, but other than that, I read the same rate.

for me e-books are way faster than paperback. when reading a paperback I can take a week on average..even if the book is really good. paperbacks are not that convinient. With e-books I can take from a day to 3 days depending on hiw good the book is.

I prefer paperbacks just because I love the feeling of holding a physical book in my hand. I also love how books smell, and I like to flutter the pages while I'm reading just so I can smell the pages.

For reading preferences, I'm always on the go, so I use my NOOK since it's portable. I don't have the same books on it as I do my bookshelf, but the fact that I can read my NOOK books across a variety of platforms is just more convenient for me.

Definitely an ereader!! I love my paperbacks though. I'm a hoarder of those but I read pretty fast on my devices.
