Which e-reader tool or app is best for most formats? Specially for epub?

The situation might be different on different platforms. The best multiplatform free ebook reader I used is calibre. Okular is another piece of free software sometimes I prefer because it divides books into pages but its support isn't as broad as calibre's and I'm not sure about how many platforms it supports.
Ciao :)

I sometime back used a certain app to read an epub file, and it was too buggy and got really disappointed. Now I am using ReadEra, and it's good so far.

I also use ReadEra. It is great. It opens most formats.
