I think audio books are cool if you can concentrate. Personally I am yet to try it. Don't think I have the patience

I love listening to audiobooks! I think that they're a great way to multitask and learn new skills, etc. I prefer to listen to informative books in this format rather than non-fiction so that I can learn while commuting, cleaning or other activities.

My brother listens to audiobooks all the time and lives by it. He says it’s the best way for him to be productive since he listens to them on the way to work... I just really don’t like it. I feel like the tone and inflection of the readers voice can change the scene for me. For example, I may have said it a different way if I were reading the text, but the way the audiobooks reads it to me is basically how I have to take it. I think that’s the main reason why I like reading my own books rather than listening to them.

I have only once listened to an audio book.Well, I both read and listened because I really hoped that the book would help me. It was about quitting smoking. To my surprise, it was very effective and after finishing the book I quit. Maybe the audio book contributed a lot more than I think to my success of ditching that bad habit.I will definitely give different audio books a go too.

I really prefer to read a book myself, but audiobooks have been a lifesaver on long road trips. I have to travel long distances a few times a year, and listening to a good audiobook keeps me awake.

I definitely love audiobooks but I have to admit that it doesn't give as much satisfaction as reading books by oneself, it depends on the nature and tone of the reader's voice.

I was never able to get into audiobooks. Absolutely hated it when we had to listen to them while reading along in school. It was going at a much slower rate than I would if I were just reading it myself.

I have listened to books before. The main difference between listening to a book and reading one is on time: the time needed to complete reading a book is relatively higher. To fall in love with a book I think reading is better.

I really love to listen to audiobooks and podcasts. One good thing is that some of the Audi books also have background music composed along with the narration which gives a more virtual reality picture of the incidents explained in the book.

I have tried audio books and it wasn't for me. I enjoy reading the book myself and I tend to read faster than the speaking speed of the audio book. Audio books drag on and put me to sleep.

I don't enjoy audiobooks. I read quickly, so I feel as if I am wasting time if the narrator is too slow. I have listened to a few audiobooks before but I have lost interest quickly. However, audiobooks are useful for multitasking.

I usually prefer reading books that I can read as a first choice. I don't usually go for audiobooks because I tend to get distracted very easily. But I find them to be quite relaxing when I have the time and the desire to just sit still. I think it does take some getting used to but it can be very rewarding.

Listening to audio books are very easy way to read but I was never able to concentrate on the plot so much like the way I do while reading them.

An audiobook is an option only when I am not free but still want to read. Otherwise, I won't result to it
