I realize our day and age now is so much different than even ten years ago. When it comes to books I would rather he learned to read and hopefully enjoy old fashioned books at least at first. Being able to pick out books from the bookshelf to read at bedtime or anytime is always something to look forward to. He is to the point he is telling me what is going on in his books. I can't help but think if we only read EBooks to him that it would not be the same.
No, They should be reading form paperback because they already spend so much time on screen while playing games, watching cartoons, series, etc. Their eyesight is not developed yet and longer usage of technology can harm their eyes badly. So paperback is much comfortable for them.

I think kids should read paperbacks. They have to first get accustomed in reading the physical copies of the book. Only that helps to cultivate the younger minds.

Definitely paperbacks. Kids these days are already glued to the screens. It's better to give them a non-digital way of having fun. Plus, that'll ruin their eyesight too early.

I agree that its better to start kids on paperback and let them choose their own format when they are older. It is all about developing a reading culture in your children.

I think that it's vital that kids are exposed to both. It gives a chance to decide which is best for them.

I think paperback. It's a different experience altogether. Being able to touch the books and smell the paper was one of my favorite things about reading growing up, and you would never get that experience from an e-reader.

Paperback. So it doesn't ruin their eye sights at an early age.

I agree. Electronic devices should not be given to kids. Physical books have their own importance in the process of learning,

They should be definitely reading paperback and only paperback all their lives. Because these electronic devices are not giving the right feel for me or anyone i guess. The fragrance and the feel of a book in hands is so good and no devices can grant that.

In my opinion I don't understand how someone can prefer to read books in a screen. I mean sure, I can totaly understand the pros of e-books but still, the feeling you get when your turn the pages, the smell of a brand new book and even the weight in your hands are some things I would never give up if possible. Maybe I am just old fashioned but I don't think you have properly enjoyed all a book can offer you if you haven't held it in your own two hands.

Paperbacks for sure, but it is not always easy to get hold of the books with the content I need at certain times so I compromise. But I have the highest appreciation for paperbacks.

I always thought that kids should be kept away from electronics. Books are not a good excuse for me to keep them behind a screen. I would never allow that to happen. When I think of ways to keep my kids away from phones or iPads, a good colorful book with a yummy snack will be the perfect solution.

Kids should stick to paperbacks since electronic devices literally damage your sight and I feel exposure should be delayed as much as posiible

I am not a parent yet, but I believe they should first be introduced to the old fashion paper books first because there is a lot of time for ebooks
