2. Calibre on my computer (I don't have my kindle right now but I got the mobi form because that's what it requires)
3. I've opened books of every format on Calibre
4. I right click on the book, to which a menu opens up. I click on "view" and it opens a readable form.
5. It opens the book like it normally does the pages are blank and gray and it can't tell me how many pages are in the book either.
6.The error says "invalid continuation byte."
7. I did read the "Top Tips."

I purchased the book First Survivor from Amazon, but it is not showing up on my Kindle. I spent over 22 minutes on the phone with a Kindle Representative to no avail. She could only tell me to "Give it time. The payment went through, delivery is pending."

1. I selected epub format.
2. I am using iPhone.
3. I have never opened a file in epub format.
4. I can’t open the file bcz each app is requesting payment for the book. I already paid $1.25 to Apple Card.
5. I run into trouble when the app I have downloaded requires payment for the ebook.
6. I do not get an error message.
7. I read and tried the top tips. I tried obc reader, nook and kindle. I was told that the first book is free to me. I see no reason to download more apps when there is no option to acquire the free version of the book.
