I love having an e-book reader as its great for travel and you can often download ebooks for a lot cheaper than regular books. You can also find books you want right away most of the time.

Totally agree
We bought two Kindles for our family. I have newer Paper White and my DW has an older model one. We have collected about 3000+ books for the kindle. Many of my DW favorites (like Agatha Christie) are available for the Kindle

I think it is a good thing to have an eBook reader or a tablet that can help you carry your reading material wherever you go

It depends on your lifestyle. If you tend to read on the go then go ahead and purchase one.

I think getting an e-reader is one of the best investments a reader can make. It has saved me tons of time and money.
