I only use the highlight function for interesting quotes. I never use the bookmark though.

I usually highlight and write notes when reading on Kindle app. I rarely bookmark.

I only use the highlighter for one or two phrases. If it's anything more than that, I use the bookmarks.

I often use both. First I highlight then I bookmark. Bookmarking is my favorite one. It helps me to organize what I've learned from the book and reveiw the book after reading.

I do use all the functions in my OBC Reader app, from highlighting, bookmarking, to taking notes and such. It is very helpful in keeping track of important notes and things I want to keep.

I use highlights more because I am too lazy to write what the mark is for :lol2: I usually can detect for what reason I highlited the passage so it is not much need for marks.

I only bookmark the page I stopped on. I prefer highlight sentences or paragraphs that catch my attention.

You bet I do. I highlight because I want to remember why I love a book so much. I also use it to take note of errors.

In the past, I have never been able to physically highlight a book, not even if it is not mine. I also feel uncomfortable looking at highlights made by others on their books. However, since I started reading digital books, I find it necessary to highlight quotes. This became even more important when I began writing book reviews. To keep my notes organized, I developed a color-coded system for quotes and errors. I now feel lost without the ability to highlight.
To help me keep track of my notes, I use the RedEra app, which has proven to be a valuable tool for tracking my reading progress.

I am a relatively new Kindle owner. However, I love the ability to highlight, bookmark, and take notes on my Kindle. I have found it very helpful to mark errors and note important excerpts that I would like to remember for my reviews. I'll be honest, I have an aversion to marking in physical books. Therefore, this feature is a significant advantage, in my opinion.

I love using both a bookmark and highlighter specifically with e-readers. I'm a bit more gentle with my physical books as I know there will be a day when physical books are not so easy to acquire. :techie-studyinggray:

I use both. I use highlight if I think there might be an error, but if I am sure about that, then I note it.
