The book was interesting overall. I found every chapters interesting. The plot and characterization. So the book as a whole is my favorite

When the survivors were building new nations and the apocalyptic scene got my attention.

The best part of the book for me was the founding and growth of the five nations. I like a silver lining and the hope for a better outcome is the best silver lining.

I don't have a favorite part. Each chapter of the story had its unique features that I loved. Infact, they were similar in some parts. I chose to accord them same level of love.

The dead zone was also my favorite. The animals and plants there were fascinating (as you said). I could not stop myself from picturing them in my mind's eye.

I really enjoyed how intriguing this book was. I also loved the creatures therein. However, I must say I was not particularly impressed by the innumerable profanities found in there.

I didn't like too much stuff about this book. Though I was impressed by the creatures in there, I was not happy with the level of profanity the book contained. This was my turn off.

The post-apocalypse era was the only part of the book which I enjoyed. Otherwise, the book didn't excite me much.

I think my favorite part was the rebuilding of the nations process. It is always interesting to read about the development of a new society system after a massive destruction.

My favorite part of this book was the ability of the survivors to regroup in Georgia that are 1% of the remaining population.

My favorite section of the book is when the Abnormals used their fighting prowess to further the plot.

The post-apocalyptic era, when 99% of the population has perished, is my favorite section of this book. Five new nations were founded by the 1% of survivors from the devastation, and they gained powerful throughout time before things turned worse and abnormalities started to appear.

I enjoyed the group's journey to get to the dead zone. I thought the mob of crazies was hilarious and suspenseful. I found it quite interesting the preacher was abnormal but was leading a congregation of anti-abnormals.

Simmons32 wrote: 01 Jun 2022, 10:29 I am sorry to say that this was not one of my favorite books. I did not find any part of this book enjoyable. Most of the time I was completely distracted by all of the profanity, which I am not a fan of. I know it could be deemed as an exciting book for most people, but it was not that way for me. So unfortunately, I am going to say that I do not have a favorite part. I wish I had a different answer for you.
Excessive profanities just get me to cringe... But it just shows the writer wanting to express real life settings.
