I picked up that vengeance isn't always the right choice. Also, it is never right to segregate a particular group because they are different especially due to forces out of their control. Determination and perseverance is also made manifest.

I’ve learned that eryone has unique character strengths and abilities that allow them to express their individuality in a social environment. It is what makes them special. We should not easily judge what we see as we don't honestly know the thing behind it.

I learnt that no matter the struggles and challenges one face. They should not give up as giving up gains you nothing while determination can lead you to a better position.

I learnt that determination is all you need to progress against the odds. Once you doubt yourself, you have no way to achieve what you want. Tenacity and determination are amazing virtues shown in this book.

This book really inspired me, I learnt that one should always be strong willed and go for what we want, one should learn to strive and never give up. The character of Karina was a great motivation for me.

The lessons of persistence, perseverance, patience, doggedness, grit, determination, were all accentuated in this book and I internalized most of them.

I learnt that there are some problems some humans are facing that are not their making. The experience from those who experienced the apocalypse had a turn in in their life. The mutilated gene led to other complications.

One should not judge anyone because they seem slightly different to us. We forget that other people might feel that we are different from them. This is like a loop that has no end in sight. I also learned that one should not give up on facing difficulties. We need to stand firm and move forward.

I learned how the human race has learned to adapt to adverse circumstances. And how important it is for me personally, to use other people's story of tenacity as inspiration to keep moving forward in my life. I also learned how important fiction really is when it comes to dealing with real life situation such as the pandemic and how everyone adapted to it.
