I agree with you that the book has similarities with the pandemic. You either isolate yourself among your peers or risk coming out to be haunted.

Gloria Kaszyczky wrote: 16 Jun 2022, 10:17 I totally agree with you, I too noticed this sense of mistrust and judgement through the book and it made me think about how similar these feelings are to the ones we experienced (and are still experiencing) during the Pandemic. It's quite sad that in such a difficult situation, we feel judged and alone, it's important to remember to be kind to each other!!
We should always be kind with each other. I think there was so much mistrust in the book too. Like you said, it made me remember the pandemic when we barely trusted each other.

You will concur that, as indicated in the book, life is filled with difficulties. Many people's circumstances changed during the lockdown, and it might require someone who is determined to proceed.

Yes, I agree with you. The seperation and isolation made it seem similar to the pandemic.

The exact same. Even with a mask on, I can still recall folks giving me odd stares if I so much as sneezed. During the entire novel, there was unquestionably a mistrusting sensation. I appreciate your looking at my content.
