The development of the characters made every one of them look the same. Even though this could as a result of the nature of the story, I still believe the author should have done better.

If you didn't know which character was speaking, it's difficult to differentiate between one or another. Each one sounds exactly the same when speaking, and for a story that takes place in the future, the characters all speak as if they are modern-day teenagers. It detracts greatly from the story.

I think the characters' similarity is to portray the time they live in. They all had hard times earlier in their lives, and they tried to survive under those circumstances. Amanda and Monty, however, may be due to their young age, were characterized as more peaceful and calm.

I agree with the observation that they were all a bit rough around the edges (though that's likely due to the circumstances they were in and the themes that the author wanted to portray), but I can't say that I found them to be too similar. While sharing certain traits, the characters had their own unique traits as well.

The similarities in the characters were quite pronounced but I believe there was a uniqueness to each of them.

The world they lived in made them harsh and angry, but not all of them were that way. Amanda, for example, was a sweet girl. She was betrayed by her closest friend, but she didn't harbor any remorse for him.

I feel like the characters were extensions of the author's mind. That would be the cause of the similarities between them

I don’t quite agree with that valuation of the characters. As there physical features were distinctly different, so were there innate features.

For me, I felt a lot of similarities between the characters, but I enjoyed it because it made the book very unique. I was able to differentiate the character so well.

I noticed the similarities in the characters' personalities but that didn't affect me while reading the book. I still found it interesting.

I think that the characters are portrayed in such a way, as it relates to the overall theme and background of the novel. I think it was the writer's choice to do this

The characters had some differences even though there were similarities. The similar nature and personality maybe due to the story and circumstances.

The characters' behavioral patterns and sense of judgment are all dependent on the author's purpose and perspective. The characters had their unique difference. After reading the book, I came to the conclusion that all the characters do have a similar personality.

I realised at some point the characters were confusing annd this made it hard for me to distinguish or rather compare their personalities.Otherwise the characters had a similar drive and motivation .
