I definitely agree, we're living longer now and there are far more things to do and opportunities for thw retired. We should adapt our plans for the future based on the possibility that we may have many years of life to enjoy after er stop working. Current thinking about retirement seems a bit old-fashioned now.

Yes, I agree with the author, retirement should be seen as the beginning of a new career and not the end of the road. Most people tend to leave a complicated life after retirement.

I do concur that retirement should be treated as a career. I have observed individuals struggle with boredom after retiring, making them sad. Yet, if retirement is thoroughly thought out and treated like a career. There will be activities to keep one occupied and content.

Different people will have different opinion about this subject. However, I think retirement begins a new phase in the life of every aging adult. To live these phases happily solely depends on well you have worked, saved, invested and prepared for it. I agree with the author on this one.
