I learned a lot of lessons from this book, but the most outstanding thing that I learned is that retirement planning should be entirely strategic since it depends on the income that is being made before one retires.

The greatest lesson learned from this book is to plan for the unforeseen. With a pandemic, this view makes a lot of sense because anything can happen. And importantly, there are a lot of options out there to invest or save money wisely.

From the book I learned that I need to plan ahead and start preparing for retirement a lot sooner than I expected.

I am not a muse.
I am the somebody."

For me, the greatest lessons I learnt was that just saving is not enough. Just like the title, one has to reconfigure their lifestyle and mentality about money. Investments are key. Inflation would eat your saved money faster than imaginable, so pension and savings really shouldn’t be a person's only plans for retirement, especially if you want to live a comfortable life.

This book taught me about the importance of budgeting and planning. I've never been the type to plan but Reconfigurement has opened my eyes to the benefits of this.

The book prompts me to plan for days when there will be no pay check every month. It’s better to save and invest today and reap the benefits later. It also urges me to find myself a side hustle that I’m passionate about and polish my skills so that I can gain something out of it later in life. It’s very realistically written and urges the readers to make wise decisions about their future.

It was surprising to read about the lack of Americans that utilize retirement plans! I learned how to capitalize on certain types of plans and of course to not wait until retirement to have fun!

My biggest lesson was that insurance is a very important part of retirement planning. It's not only handy in the event of an emergency but also acts like a savings account for your future.

the importance of being prepared for your old age is ingrained in me thanks to this book. Planning ahead is important, but it became all the more glaring after reading the stats and seeing the amount of time it takes to run out of money that we deem enough for retirement.

The most important lesson is that planning for retirement should start as soon as you have an income. I wish I had read this book a few years earlier.

The greatest lesson I learnt from the book is that one needs to be strategic about the time to retire. Sometimes it is better to retire early to maximize the benefit.

The greatest lesson I learned from this book is the work-life balance the author emphasized. Many don't get to live the best life in their youth because they are trying to make ends meet. but they might not get to enjoy their travel plans after retirement probably due to health issues or thereabout.
Therefore, work and plan towards your older age but enjoy your life now as much as you can.

Some advantages come with planning your life very early. Reconfigurement has thought me what to expect in the future.
