I didn't enjoy any specific joke in the book. I couldn't relate to any of it. But I love the puns.

I don't have a favorite, but I like that the author tried to make the content lighter through these jokes.

To be honest, I did not get most of the jokes. Those I understood, I did not find them that funny :? I suck at puns.

My favourite joke from the book was the one where the family gets 50%, a third and a sixth of the deceased's money, and the kid answers that what they all get is a lawyer! :D

This was a funny joke. But if I’m being honest, it’s one of the few I found hilarious. Another joke I liked was the Minnesota skyways joke. But overall I enjoyed how the author made effort to lighten up the mood from time to time.

Marsha JJ wrote: 02 Jul 2022, 16:38 In "Reconfigurement", the author lightens it up the financial and life planning content with lots of fun jokes throughout. My favorite was "Who handles the financial matters in a monastery? That's nun of your business." What was your favorite joke in the book?
That is difficult to say because I have several. For instance, "The biggest problem in our country is apathy....but who cares?" In short, I found his puns hilarious and thought-provoking

I loved this one, " The only thing that travels faster than light is your weekend"
I found it very hilarious. :lol2:

It was the one with the lawyer. It went like this:

Wife: I want to know if I have grounds for divorce?
Lawyer: Are you married?
Wife: Yes, of course.
Lawyer: Then you have grounds for divorce.

It was all so hilarious but it was so simple that I could not even know why I'm so joyous with it. :D

The "ba-dum-tish (the sound after a corny joke)" after the joke "As an aside, I have a friend who's an IRS agent and she's often completely exhausted. You might say her job is very taxing!" is hilarious.

After many years searching of trying to find steady work I finally got a job as a historian only to realise that there was no future in it.

Mine's gotta be "The number one problem in our country is apathy… but who cares?"

Maybe I relate well to this because it's funny how my country also faces the same problem. It's kinda sad I know, but... Who cares
