What a soul-lifting review! Steve trying his best to prevent killings from reoccurring makes me realize that beautiful humans still exist. seeing that some students from Kent state university were killed. The writing style used was simple. I found the storyline to be engaging. Lovers of human rights will find this book helpful.

Daring humans still exist. Steve should be given a national honor for fighting against the killings of students that occurred at Kent State University. The characters were well described.

I would give this book a rating of four out four stars. It's narrative technique is intriguing. I've always heard about the Vietnam war but I didn't know the main concepts. All thanks to this book, it's ability to describe the war in it's full concept. The addition of images too is something I must commend.

Although it is a war book, it has a unique storyline. The cover page of the book really helped depict the contents.

I also love the book cover .The book is about Vietnam war and the way college students are interwoven in the story makes the world a wild place where the old don't seem to understand the youth.

Before reading this book, I didn't think I'd enjoy a book about war. I really enjoyed the author's simple language and writing style. I also enjoyed the little romance in the book. There's no part of the boo I didn't enjoy, so it deserves a four out of four rating.

I love historical books depicting not only what happened at a particular time but we get to see the thought processes of the generation of that era. The themes portrayed in this book are universal and people living in disputed regions can very well relate to them.

This book is a typical example of what happens in the society today. The plot is intriguing and we'll detailed.Being a historical fiction, I believe alot of facts about history would be exposed. The characterization of the book is also commendable.
Steve's courage and perseverance awes me. I look forward to reading the kind of challenges he went through in joining the Police.

The theme of the book is something I have read in many other novels but the approach to the theme of war, and school shootings in this book was unique and very informative. It included various views on the matter giving it an interesting perspective. The writing was very convenient to read. I don't have much to say about the negatives. All in all, I give this book a full 4 stars for writing on a sensitive topic with a realistic approach.

Not having read the book yet, I don't feel like I can rate it fairly. However, the official review was very compelling, and I'm positive I'll be reading this soon. It seems there is a fair bit of hype surrounding this title, and from what I've read about it, I can understand why; the book covers powerful themes that are relevant even now.

This book does a great job of showing the sad truths about the Vietnam War. I learned about it in school but this book gives insights into the characters' lives during this war. The violence described is hard to read at some points. I would rate this a 3 out of 4! My only critique is that it gets a little confusing at times.

The Vietnam war has its fair share of accounts, but I think this book really sets itself apart by the utilisation of activism. I expected it to be emotional, the I don’t know if there is a any aspect of the Vietnam war that can be written without enticing emotions but the author portrayed this in an eloquent fashion.
