I won't say toxic but I don't like their relationship very much. Roxy is completely focused on her goal of becoming a doctor, which is perfectly fine except because a relationship needs compromise from both parts and she doesn't seem to compromise. She also takes the "good" parts of Steve's job, such as when he bailed her out of jail, but still calls policemen "pigs," which seems incongruent, and I don't like incongruency. Not to mention she cheated on him. Steve, on the other hand, seems to be sort of afraid of her and guiding his actions just to please her, which isn't healthy either.

I felt the love was toxic. I felt she put herself first, unlike Steve who always put Roxy first. I feel she did not weigh the relationship properly before getting into it. They were both young and infatuated, getting carried away without weighing their decisions. Steve realised late that he must put himself first and I was glad he eventually did.

Love is unhealthy if is based on physical attraction only. For me, Roxy and Steve need to communicate more, as physical attraction cant sustain it.

It was not healthy, the drinking, the drugs, the selfishness, the immaturity. But they were young adult, hence they still have a lot of room to grow.

I think that every relationship has its fair share of ups and down, and this doesn't necessarily make it a toxic or bad relationship. Roxy and Steve lacked communication and trust but the love was there and I believe that with work they would be good.

I would say the love between Steve and Roxy was toxic. Roxy cared so much about herself as if the relationship was about her. He did not care for Steve well enough, constantly nagging about everything.

For me, the love Steve and Roxy had was definitely toxic. They had a lot of misunderstandings, and lacked proper communication most of the time. I also feel the love was one sided.

The love was still very young. They did not have the opportunity to face bad times together, so it started to fall apart. But it was not toxic.

The relationship Steve and Rosy had was an awesome one from the beginning. But as the narrative unfolded, circumstances came in the way and changed the state of things.

I felt their relationship was highly unhealthy and sometimes quite annoying. Steve was bordering on obsessive to me because he was always going on about doing things because of Roxy and basically putting his life on hold to make plans for them, even though Roxy had her own plans. Roxy seemed to take but not give in equal measure to me. Putting your plans and dreams on hold because of a relationship is a red flag, and when the other partner encourages this while moving forward with the plans they made for their own life, that is a bigger red flag. Plus, they cheated on each other and were both dishonest.

I think it was toxic. They were not healthy for each other. The constant heartbreak was bad and unhealthy.

I agree with the assertion that Steve and Roxy's relationship can be considered unhealthy because it lacks communication, trust and understanding. I think deep down, Roxy sees Steve as a hypocrite, even a failure because he scares her friends and is doing exactly what they hated in the first place.

Steve loved Roxy unconditionally. Their relationship had shortcomings but I wouldn't say it was toxic

Steve and Roxy love wasn't healthy. However, to some degree, one can justify their relationship at first but the distance they started creating became unhealthy.

Steve and Roxy's relationship really took a toll on them. It may be because of the unfortunate turn of events that made them get confused on the way. There is no way that relationship was healthy.
