I believe that individuals should wait to join the military until they are at least 21 years old. I believe that 17-year-olds are just too young to deal with the issues that emerge in the military, even though they must have their parents' permission. They still have a lot of maturing and developing to do.

I believe children should never be drafted into wars, it's as if the government is sending them to an early grave. If I had the power I would stop it

I don't think patriotism should be a reason for drafting children into the military.
War is political and I do not appreciate the logic behind sacrifice lives for a few people's ego.
Children are children in peace and war. They must be protected not drafted.

Drafting kids for war is a very wrong thing to do because most times they grow up to become stone-hearted fellows. So if I have the power, I'll stop the drafting of kids into a war.

Drafting is mandatory enrollment into the armed forces. Should kids be drafted for war? No. Should they be trained for self-defense? Yes.

Our brain only fully matures and develops around 25 years old. So... 🤷‍♀️

It'll leave the surviving kids from any such war with age-long traumas. I wouldn't want that for the next generation. So, yes, if I had the powers, I would change that. Kids should not go to war for any reason whatsoever.

I have never approved of the idea of drafting children into the army. Children are not matured enough to make decisions. Some of them may think it will be like a movie not knowing it's a life or death situation.

If I had the power, I'd make it voluntary. Drafting children for war messes with their life. Their plans are shattered and they may never remain the same. Truly, drafting kids for war is terrible.

If you had the power, would you end this menace? Or do you find reasons with the government for drafting young kids for war?
In my opinion, kids are not even meant to be aware of the concept of war. They should be protected from this until their teenage years. Even upon reaching teenagehood, they should not be drafted to fight a war

Drafting "kids" for war?
That's unacceptable. Kids should be protected by the government. If I had my way I would end this menace.

I do not think that there is absolutely any reason justifiable which may be given as a reason for drafting kids to war and exposing them so early on to such level of trauma and violence.

Kids minds are still developing and it's unfair to expose them to such serious decisions as choosing between life and death. Some rebel groups have been known to use kids in their fights because they are easy to manipulate. It's wrong.
