I do not think war will ever be fully eliminated. Ultimately, those who crave power will resort to the most foolproof way to acquire it- violence and physical strength.

I hope it is possible to completely eliminate war soon. I do not think young people tolerate it anymore, so I hope new generations will live more peacefully and happily.

The views of the older generation are different. I believe the younger generation has been exposed to more tolerance on issues that could have otherwise resulted into conflict. Wars are not as frequent as before and hope they will end all together some day

Wars can't be eliminated forever but what I have to agree with is that, tolerance for war decreases with each coming generation.

Tolerance for war is really deceasing I our day. The value of one's life is now acknowledged and this has made the tolerance for war to decrease massively

Humans love power. They're so power blinded that they'll venture into war without knowing that such act itself will inherently affect them. So, I really do not think that war can be eliminated with humans

People say only death has seen the end of the war and if you ask me, nobody wants to die. we can't eliminate war, we just have to show our intolerance for it.

The worst thing is that war lives in people, it is part of our nature and this is the most frightening fact. However, one does see a decrease in the desire for war with each generation. That is due to knowledge, emotions, and most of all, evolution! Centuries from now people will likely forget even what the word war means, but for now, we are very far from that type of world, unfortunately.

I am not entirely sure. Because there are also a lot of political agendas that are stealing people's attention into other subjects and matters. Like gender identity and feminism. Unless a person is affected directly by an event like the one where the students were killed or is genuinely interested. Am not so sure

I don't think our tolerance is decreasing, maybe just that we've become desensitised to it. Wars are currently happening and while we may not agree with them or tolerate them , we hardly protest (like the author's generation) unless it affects us or our country directly.

I had never really considered this but it makes so much sense. War tolerance int opinion definitely is reducing from generation to generation. The power of pressure groups, social and media activism as well as general consensus can play a part in the duration of wars. This is in sharp contrast to the past when a war was expected in ones lifetime and was even a hotly anticipated badge of honor for some of a nations youthful eligible demographics.

I have to approach this question from different angles. Truthfully does Russia have a justifiable reason for invading Ukraine? In my personal thesis and analysis, I don't think they do. Our generation of leaders have little tolerance, hence, war is the outcome. We resort to war at the slightest diplomatic disagreement. However, this mostly common in the then world than now.
