This is totally wrong, this idea should be abolished. It robs them of the chance of being children.

I don't support this act (government drafting kids for war). Instead, it is the government that is supposed to protect them. If I had power, I would end it.

I believe it should be abolished. Any leader who falls victim should be punished by the international court.

I would abolish it. If you have to use kids, you've already lost the war. Children shouldn't be taken to war. It should be a crime.

They lack background. Sending them to combat is merely a death sentence. If I had the ability, I would surely stop it.

In a civilized society, there is no justification for enlisting youngsters in the military. Think about what a war does to emotionally, physically, and psychologically mature adults. Even if kids were physically capable of fighting, the emotional toll on the country would be detrimental for decades.

I see why governments do it -- to enlarge their armies and the chance of winning. Nevertheless, I hate it. I feel it is a selfish and unjust practice. Why should these youths be prohibited from doing some things because it is accepted that they're too young, but when a government suddenly has a vendetta (which most times is due to ego and greed), they're recruited to fight for this cause, no matter how they feel about it? Suddenly their life is no longer theirs, and the pretense of personal freedom and rights is exposed as an illusion that only applies when convenient.

Kids should not be fighting in wars. Our brains aren't even fully developed until our mid twenties.

It’s very cruel and horrible for governments, out of nowhere, just cut short the young lives and dreams because of their selfish reasons. We’ve all seen the effect of wars on our forefathers. It ain’t a nice thing to experience.

I am anti-war, much less involving kids in it. The PTSD that grown men suffer from after war is a tremendous price to pay; a child does not have the mental capacity to carry the lifelong weight of being participating in war. I would go as far as to say that drafting kids into war is wasting their potential.

I think governments have their reasons, but none are justified in actually drafting kids. If I had the power, I absolutely would end this forever!

This is sensitive when considering the circumstances in which kids are drafted for war. But on the other hand it's also easy to say that it's completely wrong to do so.

I would definitely end it. Children should be in school and not out on the battlefield. It also doesn’t make economical sense, since without education, many jobs would be understaffed because people wouldn’t be qualified for them.
