This book brilliantly described what life was like during this time period. The author does an amazing job of describing the attitudes of both the parents and the young people toward life. I was delighted to discover that this was not a book about the Vietnam War but about protests against authority and the draft that forced young men to fight in a war that they did not believe in. Due to amazing character development, accurate historical data, and the professional editing, I will be rating this book 4 out of stars. I recommend that anyone who is interested in reading about this historical period in time read this book. The cover and title do a nice job illustrating the turmoil during this time. I hope that readers will realize that if a system needs changing you have to get involved and not just talk about it.

The book was written in a way that the reader can feel the emotions running through the characters. I think the title of the novel is perfect for it. I've read some books about then Vietnam war but this book states some facts I've never come across. I would rate this book four out of four stars. I'm also Glad for it's happy ending.

The book, Wild World, is interesting with a nice plot. Vietnam war parts make it feel real and like historical fiction. The cover relates to what is inside the book. I like Peter in this book. The style is outstanding. There's some violence in it. But overall, it's a great book that brings a smile to the reader's face. I give it a rating of 4 stars.

I really enjoyed the author's writing style. The characterization is marvelous, and I felt that the characters' emotions and thoughts moved the plot along nicely. This effect sets a tone of personal uncertainty and challenges amid a tumultous societal backdrop, which I appreciate. Steve's drive to do the right thing and to make a difference in the world are admirable and capture the feeling of political protest. I found a lot to relate to in the opening chapters alone. Additionally, I think the cover beautifully represents the book's themes of peace in war and resistance.

I had a hard time with this book. Not because of the writer or the style but, because of the topic, the emotional pull and heartache I felt reading it.

It's the plot that really hooks me. I've read a handful of books that touch on the Vietnam War, but this one really stands out. Expertly excuted.

I really enjoyed this book, particularly how incredibly descriptive it was. The book weaves together a number of different plot lines very well, and the conclusion was incredibly satisfying, to my delight. I love that this book touches on doing what you can where you are in order to make a difference. While things won't always turn out the way we would like them to, that doesn't mean we stop trying. It's a well-written and enjoyable story.

In my opinion, the 4-star rating is well deserved. After reading the official review of the book, I was captivated and convinced to go ahead and read the book. Steve's character is quite refreshing to follow through. I also enjoyed the author's unique narration style, which is laudable.

The book is about corruption. While the cover attracted my attention, the plot did not quite interest me. But I would recommend the book because it carries a very important message on corruption and fatal gun killings.

I loved and appreciated the pace of the book. It wasn't too quick and at the same time it wasn't slow. It was just as perfect, keeping me engaged throughout. The tone of the author was very much appreciated. There is nothing I can say I disliked about it.

Wars come and go but leave us with lessons. This book tried to give us lessons about the Vietnam war. It is a good read and deserves book of the month honor.

Wild World is a great book which addresses major issues from the seventies. It is agreeable that the sixties and seventies were filled with events. I'm glad this book talks about them.

I would honestly give this book a perfect rating. I think it was really interesting that the author made use of an important event like the Vietnam War in order to highlight the importance of activism. I loved the fact that there were genres like historical fiction woven into what could easily be a non-fictional account. I loved the realistic portrayal of the character and I think it conveyed really important messages about fighting for what you believe in.
