I agree with you. Most of the times, the people who suffers the most are the students, directly or indirectly.

The case is the same in most nations in the world, students are always the ones to suffer more whenever there is a political crisis in any nation.

Truly students are always on the receiving end of whatever thing that the government does and it's not supposed to be so.

It's still a problem today when widespread political mishaps have an adverse effect on innocent people. Even though it shouldn't, there is still an inadequate management system in place. I think a devoted government will eventually take charge.

I agree that government actions have a significant and often direct impact on students. I also believe the book's setting serves as a great example of an era when this was very true. It might not always be as direct violent, but the consequences and severity are always the same.

I agree with your statement, it usually happens most in under-developing countries, students are always affected by government decisions.

The status quo has always been the same. A protest is the only peaceful way students can make their grievances known to the government. But, sadly, what should be peaceful most times turn bloody. I agree with you. Students are always at the receiving hand of every government decision.

Its very true. I think this phenomenon is brought about by the student's urge to bring about change. That's why they end up risking their own lives.

It is terrible that widespread political mishaps continue to have an adverse effect on innocent people. Even if it shouldn't, there is still a lack of effective management.

I agree with you on this. Students are mostly affected from governmental shenanigans and this is not a good thing. Government decisions should always favor students.

In my country, the government hates protests and anything that tends to point out their misdeeds. As a former student leader, I was arrested and intimidated by the government. All they wanted was to gag me. When they can't gag you, they unleash violence. I have led protests where we were beaten and molested by security agents on the orders of government. So, in my country, student unionism is an attack on the government.

This is very true. The government takes decisions and innocent students who came to learn have to bear all the repercussions. It seems like a never ending war.

There is no doubt that major government initiatives have a significant and frequently direct impact on students. The time period that the book is set in, in my opinion, is a terrific illustration of how true this is. Although it is not often as overtly violent, the consequences and degree of severity are always equally as bad as when half-baked grads are produced.
