There is no justification that is enough for taking away the life of another, even if it is for national interest. I believe that life is sacred.

Killing is never justified. There are other ways of dealing with lawbreakers such as arrests etc. But taking someone's life is like playing God.

Killing in the name of the national interest cannot be justified. I wonder how anybody can justify that. It is immoral, criminal, and wicked. Simple.

There is no reason why the government should kill when it could have placed those people under arrest and prosecute them. This thing always baffles me and it is annoying.

No, never is killing in the name of the national interest justified. Government exists to protect its people by killing the very people they are supposed to protect any justification does not stand. Even if the reasons are justified, killing is not; there were many ways they could have dealt with the situations without killing.

Killing innocent children in the name of national interest is inhumane. Terrorists who constantly terrorize a nation can be served that fate but not innocent citizens.

It can never be justified. It is totally insane and just a tool to benefit a handful of people in a government.

No, it is not justified, at least not by me. It is wrong

No, I do not believe the killing if those students is justified. Thee is no reason for me to think that. Also, you are right about how much students are affected by government actions.

Is killing in the name of the national interest justified?
I think it depends on the weight of the sin or crime committed. If the person posed a threat to the well being and peace of the residents of that country, then killing them to protect the people is not wrong. If not...

We always see the worst in a government when a war breaks out or when there is a protest. They go about killing anyone they perceive as a threat. Innocent people die too, but they see them as collateral damage. So no, arbitrary killing in the name of national interest is not justified.

In no circumstance can a killing of a person by another person be justified. and killing in the name of national interest? absolutely ridiculous. we, as citizens of a country, have the right to freedom of expression, and they can't shut us up in the name of national interest. running a country is wrought with such injustices which need not be if the people running the country weren't so selfish and corrupt.

No, I don’t believe it is justified. I feel like these people have a great sense of entitlement believing it is okay or necessary to take the lives of innocent people in order to push their agendas.
