No no no. It's not justified. If you have to kill someone, let it be that the person has at least been to the court, and be heard and actually proven guilty-- not by the words of someone. Anything apart from that is just plain injustice.

Killing in the name of national interest is not justified, and this is a big problem in the community, government is not ready to take this as its fault. They kill innocent people and still stand that it's right. This should be stopped in the community.

Killing for national interest is lawful, but not in the case of this story because protecting the future of a nation (children) is a national interest. Police shootings at peaceful demonstrations, student or not, is not and cannot be justified.

Killing is never justified. Governments should stop with that, how can people believe that the governments want to do what is good for them if they start killing their own people? Nothing is ever a good enough excuse to justify that.

Killing innocent children no matter the motive can never, I repeat never be justified.
How will innocent bright lives be lost just because of a "national interest"?

No, no way killing for the sake of national interest is justified. It is tyranny and inhumane in my opinion.

It’s terrible to see that those who are suppose to protect us are the one harming us. Killing in the name of national interest is highest form of wickedness when there are other ways to resolve it.

No, it isn’t justified and shouldn’t be justified. It’s the height of inhumanity. There are other ways to disperse the riot than killings.

I don't think it is justified because security agencies are to protect the lives of the citizens of the nation. So killing in the name of national interest is not justified in any way.

it is not justified. The primary responsibility of the police is to safeguard the lives and property of the citizens of a country. The government should reassess the work of police officers if they believe that killing individuals you are supposed to protect is their obligation. In my opinion, this is in no way justified. Police are only supposed to protect and safeguard, not kill.

There is nothing justifiable in killing young children on protests. The killing of future leaders isn't in any way protecting the National interest but destroying the Nation's future.

Honestly, I do not believe that killing someone for a country's sake is moral. All life is valuable in my opinion. I felt awful reading that section of the book because of this. Sadly, this happens frequently during most upheavals.

In my opinion, killing for state interest doesn't make any sense. If the police keep on killing anyone, there will be no one to protect. I think it wise to train our police on handling all suspects without the use of an open fire.

Nobody should perish for the sake of the country. Despite the fact that some people might agree that the country's interests come first, in my opinion it is unnecessary to kill these armless children as the book depicts them. It is a terrible situation and a terrible manner to defend the interests of the country.
