I don't like Roxy. I feel (sorry to the author) that it's quite obvious the women in this novel were written by a man trying to be woke, because they all have a very dimensional personality. They always preach female empowerment, but I find that to be their entire character. That's just my personal opinion, but I also think Roxy is a huge hypocrite. She's always the one calling for change and encouraging others to take a stand, but when Steve actually takes action, she calls him out for changing and pushes him away. It's not justified whatsoever, because as his girlfriend, she should support him for a decision she pushed him into in the first place.Kira Bonita Reece wrote: ↑10 Aug 2022, 08:57 Steve wanted to join the police force and Roxy decided to stand by him. When the job got challenging, she decided to bail on him. Given that she was one of the reasons he joined the force, was her actions justified? What would you have done if you were in Steve's position?
