Steve is easily my favourite character in the book. His determination and conviction was my greatest takeaway from the book. Though honestly, the other characters were not shed light on as much.

I liked Roxy's character. She evolves from an insecure and codependent young college student into a confident and mature woman. I liked how Rush writes about the challenges a relationship faces when individuals start to find their personal happiness. This is relatable to people involved in young love. As the individuals figure out who they are and what they want in their own lives, it can either make them grow apart or they can change and grow together.

This is a bit of a tie. I loved Steve and Roxy equally. Steve was strong, brave, and his determination to fight corruption in the police force was inspiring. H e was willing to fight for what he believed in no matter the personal cost. He was also extremely loyal to Roxy which I loved. Roxy was a hard worker and I related to her struggles quite a lot. Being a student, she faced lots of challenges having to take up night study sessions, but her resilience throughout was amazing. So I enjoyed reading about both of these characters quite a lot.

I'm still reading the book and I'm not done with it. But so far, Roxy and Steve are my nominees, but I'll definitely choose one once I'm done with the book.

Character development was not this book's strong suit; only Steve was multi-dimensional. That said, I liked Heather. The little we saw of her was enough to render her as a sage-like creature. She came across as objective and philosophical. This statement is an example: 'My karma directs me, and I can embrace the unknown'. Meanwhile everyone around her was unravelling!

The character that made my time with Wild World is Steve. He is cool-headed and always taking responsibility. I like the way he put all of himself into exposing corruption in the police force and doing all it takes to protect those that matter to him. Rod is another character I fell in love with.
You are yet to be the best version of yourself. Keep refining.

My best character was Roxy. She is a fierce and challenging lady. Despite Steve drawing away from her, she maintained her calm and seeked help.

I didn't get much of Durk but I think he is my favorite character. There weren't many descriptions of his character, but the little that was written I got attracted to it.

Durk is my favorite character because he was the one that understood what he wanted to do, he had it all planned out and as he was describing his passion that Steve caught it.

I completely agree with you since I adore Steve's character and find his willingness and commitment to make a change, as well as the work he put forth to see it through, to be what I admire most about him.

I think Steve wins the best character of the book award. He was the one that made the most sacrifice. He wanted to make changes in society, but he didn't just shy away from it or start a protest. He went into the system and began the process, risking his life. At a point, he didn't feel he belonged to either world: Not to Roxy's world and definitely not corrupt world.

I felt so much for Steve ! I love how willing he was to stand up and fight for what he believed in. The most courageous people are those who I look up to, and Steve was one of them in the book.

I love Steve the most too. His character went through a lot, but he managed to keep his head high. His determination inspired me in so many ways.

I love Roxy. I know that she had her flaws, but there was something about her that drew me in steadily. She knew what she wanted and was not afraid to go for it.

Roxy was my favorite character. The way she changed and became stronger throughout the chapters was remarkable. I loved how she always stood for what she thought was right. Also as med student myself I can relate to her late night study sessions, stress of getting into a med school and the long journey to become a doctor.
