Steve was the character in the Wild World story that drew the most of my attention. I appreciated his righteousness, his willingness to protect his friends and lover, and his bravery in exposing corruption in his department. I admired all of them.
Which character caught your interest the most, and why?

Steve to me is the the most interesting character in the book. His devotion to Roxy and belief in himself that he could take on the corruption in the police force and make a change makes him a pretty intriguing character.

Steve is my favourite character. I learned a lot by reading about his struggles. He made mistakes and he did not fail to acknowledge them. He was also determined and persistent. He truly was a noble character.

That's an easy one. I also thought Steve was the most compelling character in Wild World. He seemed like he wanted to make an impact, and to do the right thing. He was willing to take risks for what he believed in.

Roxy was my favorite character. The way she changed and became stronger throughout the chapters was remarkable. I loved how she always stood for what she thought was right. Also as med student myself I can relate to her late night study sessions, stress of getting into a med school and the long journey to become a doctor.

Steve was also the character that resonated best with me. His growth in learning more about the world and changing his perspective is a positive and something many of us need when leaving college, even if it did alienate him from his friends. I found many of the other characters lacked the capacity to see others perspectives; Roxy being a great example.
I too appreciated his bravery in continuing to stand for what’s right, even though the means may not have been completely above board.

I have actually not finished reading this book, so I can't decide on a favorite character just yet. Let me just see how it goes first.

Steve is my best character. Despite knowing how his friends hate the police force because of its brutality, he still went ahead to join. This show a brave heart.

It may be cliched, but like you, Steve was definitely my favorite character. He was imperfect and flawed but genuinely wanted to make a difference and do good in the world.

Steve was my favourite character as well definitely, his compassion as well righteousness inspired me alot.

My favorite character was Steve, he was the only redeemable one whole the others left much to be desired. Including Roxy. Second best, although he didn't have much dialogue was Durk because of how he impacted Steve's decisions.

Crowley came off as tough and all but he was the only cop that gave Steve the time of day. He was stoic and I wish he got more spotlight.

YES! I felt for Steve so much in this story. He truly had so much change happen to him. And he had to do it in isolation, as his friends and girlfriend all bailed on supporting him. Even his brother was a turd toward him. I wish the story didn't end as quickly as it did. I would have enjoyed more details of the outcome, but I guess the author let that be to the reader's imagination.

I also loved Steve. I loved his willingness to standup for what he believes in and the people he loved.

I particularly like Steve, he was ready to take a step towards the change he wanted. Even when he was faced with different opposition & distrust, he stayed true to his conviction.
