Steve always makes his decisions witg Roxy in mind. He doesn't make his decisions himself, but Roxy's influence on him does.

I believe Steve decided everything for Roxy. He eventually understood, though, that what he was doing was crucial to him. But Roxy was his entire universe, and she always came first. It's more about "Roxy will be proud, Roxy will appreciate this, Roxy will approve" than "following what Roxy says."

I think Steve didn't make decisions without Roxy in the picture. Roxy so much affected his decision-making. He would have gone to law school but because he wanted Roxy around and he wanted to protect her he joined the police.

I guess the answer is both. He's doing it because he's socially aware and he's doing it to please her. A man would go to any length to please a lady.

For the most part he obeyed Roxy's ideas regardless of his desires. He joined the police office while his desire was studying law. So I think Steve was more dependant on his partner's decisions than his own.

I think most of us would agree that Roxy was a huge factor in a lot of the decisions Steve made. I think he would have made different ones if she weren't in the picture; obviously, he wanted to please her. So while I think that ultimately, he made his own decisions, there was no doubt that most of them were influenced my his feelings for Roxy.

Steve is a good and considerate man who first needs to see ‘his wife's opinion before he makes the final decision. And it's often said that in a multitude of counselors there is a accomplishment. That's what any wise person will do before taking a serious life changing step.

I personally believe Steve made his own decisions by himself, he was obviously inspired by Durk. Of course just like any other person, he asked for inputs from his friends but generally speaking, he eventually made his own decision regardless of whatever anyone would eventually say

I’ll rather say Roxy influenced his decision. When he told her he would be joining the police force, instead of going to law school, she was quite happy. Roxy is somewhat a complicated being.

No, he just thinks he is. His decisions are highly influenced by external factors, mainly Roxy. Roxy influenced his decision to put law school aside and join the force in order to stay close to her.

I believe Steve was trying to do things that would help Roxy and her beliefs but at the same time he got interested in making a change in the police department but at first it was all for Roxy

He seems to be just going along with what Roxy says, which is how I also feel. He joined the police force because she urged him to do more to stop what was happening, and he joined the marches because she begged him to attend. I think she is just leading him around because he wants to win her over and is worried about losing her.

In my opinion, there's now way Steve jumped head first into the force for Roxy. If he did he would have jumped right out once they grew distant. He was more responsible for his own actions than most people think. He loved her a lot but he still did what he had to do.
