I do not think that the amount of profanity in this book was excessive and I definitely do not think that this made the book inappropriate for BOTM as the readers are adequate enough to handle it.

I was not totally bothered about the profanities in the book as I have read books that contains even more severe ones than this, though a lot of readers might not find this appealing.

I think the profanity was intense. However, I think it was a necessary part in showing the intensity of this time in history. People were very brunt and real with their opinions. This was shown through their words.

I do not think there was too much profanity in this book, although sometimes I would have preferred that the author avoided using certain expressions. However, I have read books where the use of profanity was far worse than this.

Not really. Some scenes in the book prompted the profanities.

I feel like, although the profanity here was prevalent, it ultimately made the book whole. I'm sure the book would be less interesting otherwise.

Although the profanity in this book seemed a bit much, I did not find it to be disturbing. The profanity in this book had to be used due to the book's nature

I have no issue with profanity in general, so I not only didn't mind it but also felt it was appropriate for the gritty setting and heavy thematic elements of this book.

I didn't feel disturbed by it, but there was a lot of it.

The novel had hard language. It was the first time I had read a book with such heavy language, so it took some getting used to. It fit the era and the age of the characters, so I did not mind as much.

The profanity didn't really bother me to be honest. I found that it seemed to be quite fitting for the age of the main characters and the era in which the book took place. Sorry you felt that way, though.

The profanity are way too much. For me it's no problems though but to some sensitive mind, I don't think they will by the idea of it being supposed for those group of people .

The profanity fits the era. It fits the ages of the characters and the political climate. I think that the story would not have been as realistic as it was without it.

I am sorry the profanity bothered you. I grew up in a military family, so profanity doesn't bother me at all.

I believe that the book wouldn’t have been as interesting as it was if the profane words and scenes of were cut out. They were really trying to make every thing about it seem real as much as possible. So I liked it exactly the way it was
