I would say he succeeded, though at first, it seemed like an impossible mission. But in the end, all the bad guys were dealt with, so I think he succeeded.

He initially felt and assumed that his goal had been a failure.
However, as the book draws to a close, it is undeniably accurate to state that the change he desired did take place because all the corrupt guys were dealt with.

For me, I will say, "Yes!!". This depends on what we see and consider as success. He was able to protect his loved once to some extent, but he put himself in difficult situations to get the right things down, he also got some bad corrupt people to face the law. So in my opinion, he was successful.

It's always hard to make a change. But to have a change we must do something. Even though Steve was not popular with the department he tried to switch things the best way he knew how.

Yes, Steve was successful as a police officer, the reason was that he make sure he recorded their corrupt plan system and handed it to the special agent that will end them all, and he was successful in doing that.

I think he failed. Police officers are supposed to uphold the law. However, Steve, who had joined the force purposely to fight corruption, looks the other way when those closest to him disregard the law. Perhaps this is the way of policing, but considering the reasons for joining the force, his conduct was wrong.

Steve was successful as an officer of the law. He did what he set out to do and upheld the law even when he stood alone, and got bad treatment from the rest of the force. He was given power which he used for good and never abused it.

Steve was successful, he accomplished his mission.
It might not be as perfect as we want it to be but he still did in his little way

Yes, no matter the challenges he encountered in the police force, Steve's goal was achieved and he successed in putting an end to corrupt dealing among the police force in his department.

I think the best success he has accomplished is to putting an end to the corruptions. If he doesn’t want to do the job again, it’s understandable.

He achieved his reasons for joining the police, and with that, I would say he was successful as a police officer.

Yes, he wax successful. He recorded feats, destroyed the long standing corrupt system, and was brave enough to stand the bullying. So yes, he did well.
