I definitely felt that way. Some wordings felt uncomfortable and needed more maturity on the matter. Mostly I felt the explicitness wasn't needed

To be frank the adult scenes, though a bit too descriptive didn't bother me at all. They were necessary to bring out the realism of the narrative.

I mean, it bothered me a little, I'm not going to lie, but I think they were written like that exactly to elicit this kind of reaction from the reader. So I don't think it was gratuitous, even though bothersome. Maybe I read it in a wrong way but I honestly think that's why they were written so brazenly

I agree. These are the parts of the book I liked the least.

Living during that time, I found the adult scenes positively refreshing. There's no need to water down how things were during a time of openness and exploration that offset the horrors of war and corrupt politics.

It doesn't bother me at all. I believe anything can happen in this world .we just have to learn to accept it and move on.

That is part of the hard truth and reality that people of that time were forced to live through. And yes! at times, it was difficult to read such things and definitely heavy, but unfortunately, this was the reality.

For me they were quite thematically necessary. It's a war ravaged world that's being depicted. Violence, drug use and suffering are to be expected. Personally I found that it enhanced my reading experience.

Yh. The adult scenes were a little over-used, but it did something to lighten the tension in the book. Alleast it lightened the tension between Steve and Roxy

It doesn't bother me. I believe it was a necessary scene as the use of drugs and college life has already been established.

I was okay. They did not bother me. I found that the author sped through those scenes. Focus was placed on Steve's decisions and thoughts as the story flowed.

I wasn't affected by the adult scenes in "Wild World". But I do agree that they were overused and it'll have been better if the author dialed down some of the details.

Generally, I don't appreciate adult scenes in films or books or any public space. When it's too much, it is sometimes disturbing. I usually just ignore or look for other interesting parts of the book or film.

I wasn't bothered by the action scenes. I'd get why a lot of people are, they were too detailed. Most people would have been better off without it.
