The way Steve's brother kept talking about Roxy's body made me uncomfortable! It made me uncomfortable as a reader and it would have made me uncomfortable from either Roxy's perspective, or Steve's! Anyone else?

Steve's brother's behavior with Roxy is not proper, it shows that he is having something else in his mind apart from normal friends.

I think they were used to it. If someone is known as being a way, it's easier to condone. But I feel like Steve should have reprimanded him.

I dislike him because the way he kept mentioning Roxy's body made me uncomfortable! As a reader, it made me uneasy. How could you possibly be enamored with your own brother's girlfriend?

I don't think it's uncomfortable. The fact that they were close doesn't mean they loved each other just like Steve and Roxy's relationship.

Its ok for their age. It will create issues once Steve and Roxy get married.

Steve's brother is a male chauvinist. His promiscuous tendency is seen in the way he talks about Roxie's body. He is such a character that can use his eyes and mouth to make uncomfortable any decent female within his space. I dislike his character so much and i consider his conduct so disrespectful and inappropriate to women and the society at large. It is condemnable.

In my opinion. I will say that the inappropriate way Steve's brother is acting toward Roxy indicates that he is considering options other than being friends with her.

It did creep me out. No matter how close I am to someone, I do not think I can talk about the woman’s body in that way. If I were a woman, I will not appreciate it. So I did not like the way he talked about her body.
