Roxy had no choice but to leave Steve

Post by Suky_Joseph »

I feel that Roxy was left with no choice but to leave Steve. I say this because Steve is not the only one who wants to fight for what's right. In an average society, a lot of people detest corruption but Roxy thought that if she followed Steve to the end, she might eventually be killed for supporting what's right.

Obviously, if I were Roxy I will think the same way because the struggle was a dangerous one and can take lives. already some students have lost their lives.

I think it is normal for as Roxy left Steve. Apart from her fear of been killed because of Steve's belief, there are many things that are wrong with their relationship. And I think the best she could do is to leave.

I totally don't agree with you on her reasons for leaving Steve. If the tables were turned and Steve was in her shoes, I am sure he would't give up on him.

Roxy was right in deciding to leave Steve because the way it was going, Steve would have gotten himself killed. There are much safer ways to achieve your goals

Yeah, I understand her somehow, because she has seen that the mission is a deadly one. But my concern is that she would not have supported Steve from the onset to fight.

Roxy became scared at some point because she believed Steve was making a dangerous move which will eventually lead to his death.

That's not true. Roxy opted to leave Steve to hide her cheating behaviour.

Roxy wasn’t ready to risk her life. The fight against corruption is a risky one, so I would blame Roxy for leaving Steve.

Whatever the main reason Roxy left Steve was, the two of them should have parted ways long ago, for the better of both of them.

I don't totally agree with that because I think Roxy had a choice, because if she loved Steve the way he loved her, she would have stood by him. I also think she was part of the reason Steve decided to effect the change and dropped law school to join the Provincial Police, even though he took it too far.

The circumstances they were both in required their separation, and their relationship was becoming toxic.

Naturally, I would feel the same way if I were Roxy because the fight was risky and perhaps fatal. Already, a few students have perished. She made that decision out of fear of death.

I think she had other options. Even after leaving him, everyone knew he loved her and would have harmed her if they wanted to. I don’t think Steve would have left her if the tables were turned.
