Throughout his time as Police Officer, Steve went through a lot of mental and physical stress and he kept saying that he will discuss it with Roxy which he never did. Don't you think that if he would have shared all this with her, he would have been less stressed and their relationship would have become more strong?

I don't think so because Roxy has not seen much and quit talking more when he shares his challenges. I believe that he never shares the problem with Roxy because she was already asking him to quit the struggle and he does not need more discouragement.

I believe that if Steve had shared what he is going through with Roxy, he would have experienced lesser stress and would have made their relationship stronger.

If he had shared it I believe he will have been in less stressed, but Roxie didn't make the situation easier for Steve to share his problems with her. She was constantly nagging and showed Steve no love.

Yes, I think that sharing your stresses with others would make you more reliefed. So, I was surprised that Steve kept postponing his intentions to share his thoughts with Roxy until it was too late.

First of all, Roxy didn't want him in the force anymore. Telling her about his struggles would oy prompt her to say stuff like "I told you so." In my opinion, that would cause even more worry for Steve because it would seem like his girlfriend doesn't even care.

I don't think so. Roxy is not a friend in need. I was not happy when she left Steve. She left him when the man needed her most.

I do not think so. She would have just aggravated the whole situation and made him more stressed.

For me, if even if Steve discussed this with Roxy, she would have found another way to accuse him of abandoning her.

I agree with your point of view. There would be less conflict in their relationship if they discussed their problems and thoughts openly with each other. Roxy might have understood Steve's situation and supported him.

I think so. Someone with whom you can share your stresses and comfort you will alleviate your feelings. And yes, talking to your partner always will strong the bond and connection between the two of you. You can support each other in any aspect of your life. So if that happens to Steve and Roxy, I'm pretty sure their relationship will prosper.

Yes, things would have been easier if he shared them with Roxy. Nothing good ever comes from keeping secrets.

I think so. A problem shared is a problem half solved.

They said a problem shared is half solved. I can never tell, but I think he should have tried sharing his problems with her rather than letting his fear overcome him

Yes, I think so. Besides that she could have been helpful in some way.
