Stupidity or pure love: Can anyone love the way Steve loved Roxy?

Post by Horlarmidey Harkinolah »

I don't think I can love the way Steve loved Roxy. He changed his career path because of her. Even when Roxy betrayed him, he still kept loving her. It takes more than feelings or emotions to love that way.
Are there still people like that in this present age generation?

I can relate to this Story. what Steve has for Roxy was pure love. Pure love can make people around you see you as a stupid person because you will be tolerating a lot from the one you love. I have fallen in this kind of love before. Steve is not Stupid just that Roxy did not love as much as Steve does.

Throughout the story, I felt very sorry for Steve. It's an unfortunate he still loved her after all of that. I admired his patience in loving her. I never met anyone like him in real life. All of the relationships I've seen break up for silly reasons or simply because they're bored with each other.

If you are purely and deeply in love, you can go to any length to do anything. We've seen people even lay their lives for their partners and I think Steve is just one of such people.

The way Steve loved Roxy was genuine love. He trusted her completely. Yes, people do love like this even today, and when that trust gets broken, it becomes a struggle not to fall into depression. Steve tried to avoid getting depressed after he caught Roxy cheating by distracting himself with more his investigations.

That is what is called love. Love is when your lover's happiness comes first. With time Roxy will mature and Steve will reap his sacrifices.

I have been in Steve's situation before. If you truly love someone, people around you will think you are foolish. Steve is not stupid but he was in true love with Roxy.

Many can love the way Steve loved. What can I say, the heart wants what it wants.

Steve's love for Roxy was exceptional and I don't think Roxy was wise enough to want to give up their love. Anyone who loves unconditionally like Steve should be wanted.

Honestly, that was the story I was hooked to the book. Their toxic relationship, I would say. I don't think it's pure love, he is just a martyr. I think there is a relationship like that in the present days but it's rare.

We cannot control how we feel, but we can control our actions. While I may be able to love like Steve, I wouldn't do tge things he did for Roxy after her betrayal.

Yes, there are still individuals who love like the way Steve did. Based on my interactions with people, it seems like their numbers are increasing. From my observation, I have noticed that one common trait among these individuals is that they tend to have low self-esteem.

I don't think it's stupid, but I don't think it's pure love either. What it seems that Estive professed for her was something like obsession and emotional codependency.

I think that the love Steve had for roxy was pure. He did so much thinking of their best interest in the process not just his.
