The most emotional part of this book was when Pasty condition deteriorated to the point of death. Her husband despite his health issues stood with her believing she won't die

I agree with you when u said the book display different emotions. I can't seem to say which one wringed my heart

But if I'm to pick the most touching part of this book I'll say it's Ron standing by his sick wife.

For me, it would be Linda's compassionate and caring heart and the support she rendered, abandoning her husband and children to take care of Pat.

Every part of the book brought out the emotion in me, especially the part showing consistent love and care. Love is best known during the trying times.
