I don’t think there were many in the appendix that were over 100k though. I had the audio book so it’s not so easy to go back and check, but the majority were starting 40-50k with some under 30k. Being from the UK, in £s that would be very good starting salaries but I know that it’s not so great in $s, which is what is being quoted.

Also, you can consider the payment vs the difficulty of the job and the time it takes from you? Maybe some less paying job that leaves you at peace in your free time would be considered well-paying, while some that earns you a lot more but constantly stays on your mind might just not be worth the gain?

So in that case, I'll ask myself how much I'll save in a month after paying my bills. If I could save anything above $300, then it's well-paying.

I agree 100%. It's completely dependent on where you live. The cost of living makes a big difference.Kat Hall 2 wrote: ↑28 Nov 2022, 20:20 It depends on where you live. I consider anything over $60K a well-paying job where I live. But people in NYC or San Francisco would disagree.
