What did you think of Kim as the main character of the book? I personally love her. She was fierce and when it really comes down to it, she is unwilling to back down without a fight.

I really liked Kim. She is a thinker who is not afraid to fight for what she believes in. When Kim begins to find her work has turned repetitive and boring, and she realizes that her so-called perfect world is deeply flawed, she questions it, which I loved.

I loved her bravery and courage to challenge the status quo. As soon as an opportunity to break away came in the person of Shan, she took it. I liked how she was developed. Though female, everyone can connect to her character.

I really liked Kim. Her character was very strong despite having been controlled since birth by the AIs. I also liked her AI- Kimberley/Kimby!

I loved her character. She was a fierce, independent thinker. She was not afraid to question the norm and take leaps toward the unknown.

I loved it! The arch of her character development is great. You sympathize with her, and you root for her.

I loved Kim as the main character. Even though there wasn’t really a description of her, I felt that readers could relate to her. She tried to play by the rules, but was also inwardly fighting against the hierarchy. I thought she was a very relatable character!

I though Kim was an awesome main character. I loved that she's female. I loved the story of her transformation: she desperately wants to be happy with her life, but there's something inside her that longs for more that she can't deny. Thankfully she has Shan, who forces her to take the risks that she actually longs to take. Growth isn't easy, and I appreciated the honesty of her pain and trauma when she eventually opens up to self-acceptance and the realization that she has the power to choose her own path.

Kim is an interesting character. Her personality grew and changed before our eyes. She bacame stronger and more mature, asking the right questions. Her AI is equally interesting as it seems to be doing a lot of thinking.

Her role was perfectly established and I loved how she developed and became more aware of herself.

I think Mr. Stanfill wrote this from the perspective of the correct character. Kim wasn’t always happy with how things were going, but he/she tried really hard. He/She got along as well as he/she could until all of the personal rules were just too much for him/her.

I honestly loved Kim as the main character. She was strong, bold, fierce but also loving, compassionate, loyal and kind. Her softer side didn’t outweigh her tougher side. She was the blend.

I liked Kim a lot! I think her character flaws made her seem more human, and I loved learning about the world through her eyes. She was never portrayed as naive, but she was kept in the dark just enough to make her discoveries seem genuine and thrilling to read.
