Problem with my Library (Kindle Paperwhite)

Hello! I'm glad to have found this section! I'm having some problems with my library on my Kindle. I went onto my Amazon page and removed books that I was no longer going to read or had read and would not be keeping. I'm down to about 50 books, so says the site. However, when I bring up my Kindle, it still says I have over 300 in my Cloud waiting on me, even after a restart and sync. How do I get just the books I wanted to show up as downloadable?
