Great tip! It’s frustrating when Kindle books are blocked in certain countries, so this workaround can definitely help. I didn’t realize how simple it is to change the country setting on Amazon, especially for those of us in regions without a local version. Using the .com version and switching to the US or UK makes sense now. Thanks for sharing the guides too!

Thank you for the tip. I’ll change my Amazon country to USA and see if that resolves the issue.

Even in our country Philippines, Amazon is not available, I really appreciate this kind of idea. Thank you.

This is very useful. Thank you for explaining how to do this. I think sometimes a person who is not used to Kindle might not even be aware that their country could cause that type of hurdle.

Thank you for sharing this information.

I will certainly change Amazon country in my settings, but before I do so, I need someone from your tech team/someone in charge/you personally to discuss this matter first.

I'm extremely cautious because I'm from Serbia and Amazon is very restrictive and harsh to us - one single little flaw and you are out and deleted with no explanation.

I knew before I can try with changing the location, but I wasn't certain if this is allowed by the OBC forum (I'm glad I came across your post and that you are encouraging this matter) and I wasn't certain about Amazon viewing this act as a fraud or scam that will result with deletion.

I'm not here to scare off others - every country has their own regulation and experiences with Amazon, and I'm sure that others might have no issue with changing Amazon country. And I'm glad for others so much.

I'm just cautious regarding myself and my country before I do something.

I would love to have access to Kindle, because my recent begining on this forum was very complicated and harsh and I almost totally gave up on participating in the Book of the Month, trying to focus on other things on this forum I can accomplish for the moment.

Until I manage to make enough funds to participate without access to Kindle.

You can't leave review on Amazon without making at least 50$ net purchases every six months.

I couldn't make any purchase with no shipping tax, especially not with books. Without access to Kindle, my books for 50$ net would cost me in total over 250$ with taxes.

I made my way to writing reviews with purchasing 50$ gift card, and then I purchased just one necessary book to participate the Philosophy forum.

That gift card covered exactly the net price with shipping tax.

Only if I had Kindle access, I could make my way to writing reviews and participating fully on forum, with buying all the books I needed to participate the Book of the month and Philosophy forum.

I'm still sad because of it.

Having access to Kindle would make things so much easier for me, but I need to discuss changing my location thoroughly and gather more information regarding my case, because I don't want to put myself at risk, especially with no previous consultation.

Thank you in advance for the space to share this here and I'm looking forward for more information and consultation.
