I used the pdf file for a book. I have used this format before and it always went through. Instead of downloading the book, I got an advertisment for the book.

The book I downloaded won't work. Its a mobi file I used all the options above but it still won't open. The error message that keeps coming is unable to open file. I have never opened a mobi file on my phone and I am using a RedMi. I tried to uninstall and reinstall my kindle app but it won't work. Is there a way I can get a new book

any time i click the re download link, all am getting is an image of the book cover
i have tried all the recommended solutions and have herein included the 5 details you need to know howto assist as follows:
1 yes i used the solutions above
2. No specific error being displayed just the same cover image without the book contents
3. i am using a computer(PC)
4. yes i think i have previously successfully downloaded since i was already reviewing this book before i lost the file
5.any time i click the re download link provided, am being directed to a dialogue box that is asking "what should Firefox do with the file"
A. open with kindle
B. save file
i have tried both but i am still just getting the cover image

It is odd as if you are able to open it on your cell, you should be able to read it on your Kindle. You need to report it via your Update tab if you want to read it on your Kindle.
