Unable to load book

I am unable to load book to my kindle. I have spent too much time and believe my kindle is too old. I cannot see good enough to use my phone. Upon reflection the only Kindle books I have used are audiobooks. Please accept my resignation from this group. I have not downloaded a copy of any books. Nor will I attempt to. I don’t know what mobi title means.
Please delete me from this group.
