Jarla left a mark on me, for a princess she was such a badass and took care of herself, unlike the conventional image of princesses who are unable to fend for themselves, jarla had her life and the lives of other's in her own hands.

I love these characters but I think I love Jarla more because of her fearlessness and confidence. Her character was really interesting. I also love the other characters because they added life to the story. Without them, the story would have been boring.

Hands down Jarla was my favorite character. She brought a nice dose of humor to the book, allowing us to see different sides of her personality. In my opinion, she’s almost the only character in the book who displayed variability in her persona and gave some depth to the interplay between the cast. I also liked her relationship with Grimbolt - a good duo.

If I have to choose between those three, Delvin. I was so pleased to find he didn't tell people about the secret (Grimbolt doesn't count, that was by necessity). In other books, you would have found him "trusting" his secret to so many people, he knows he can't trust anyone and stays focus. But, at the same time, never doubts about helping the others.

Jarla is it for me. She’s strong and wise. Her dad and the palace team were under a spell. But her strong mind made the spell unable to get to her. I love people whose mind can’t be messed with.

It was challenging for me to choose Princess Jarla as my favorite because Delvin is also a fantastic character. I adored Jarla's demeanor; she has a strong sense of self and is very driven. It's difficult to dislike her because of the way she takes charge and exudes authority.

It's Princess Jarla for me. She was elegant in all her dealings and never showed a weak side. It was nice seeing her portray what it means to be a princess.

My favourite is Delvin. Jarla has many good qualities but there is just something that still has me disliking her. I think her attitude in relation to the class structure is one of the things that jarred with me.

Devlin was my favorite character. I loved his connection with Freda the rabbit as well as his ability to accept new things. I also enjoyed watching him discover more about magic.

I prefer Delvin out of the three. I admire his ability to think outside the box in order to get out of difficult situations. I also appreciate his thoughts about illusion and magic.

Delvin is my favorite character. He is curious, considerate and smart. Despite her bravery, I find it difficult to like Princess Jarla because of her aptitude to kill with her bare hands (and nails); she is cruel.

I didn't like how Princess Jarla behaved with Delvin after all the help she received from him. Delvin was my favorite character because I loved his ability to misdirect people and make quick decisions in crisis situations. Also, I appreciated that he adapted well to every situation and did not let himself be discouraged by those around him.

I agree with everything you mentioned about Jarla. But, Delvin caught my attention from the start. He was an interesting, selfless individual,
. Without him, I think the story would have crumbled. However, I didn't like his situation at the end of the book.

Even though I liked coming across Delvin because of his lightheartedness and positivity, I am a sucker for strong heroines. So Jarla would have to be my pick. I wished she had a gentler side to her, though.

My favourite character is Delvin. He is intelligent, considerate, and interesting. Jarla is not a bad character but I like Delvin's character and role more in this story
