Could you hide in a coffin?

In the most difficult of situations, let's be honest, we all could hide in a coffin. You can't tell me in a life threatening moment you would not hid in a coffin even as it seems like the safest place at the moment.

I would never try to hide inside a coffin. I remembered one person who hid inside it last year in my city. The person ends up dead. What is now the benefit of hiding where someone can end up dead?

It would have to be a pretty dire situation for me to voluntarily get in a coffin! If it was life or death, I think I could manage it, but only for a short while before I started to freak out.

As much as I'd like to think that I'd never attempt to hide in a coffin, I also know that there are almost not limits to what people can do in order to survive.
If my life depended on it, I guess I could, but honestly the thought of it is scary.

I don't think I would be able to hide In a coffin. The thought of me not being able to breathe in there scares me. If the situation involves a life and death matter I would hide in a coffin.

I don't think I'd have any issues hiding in a coffin as long as I felt in control of the lid. I wouldn't feel trapped unless I tried to move the lid to get out and found it to be stuck - that's what would freak me out. I think it would be the same as hiding in any tight space for me though. As long as I wasn't sharing this coffin with any of the recently (or not so recently) deceased I don't think it being a coffin would have a negative impact on me.

If it is empty, yes, otherwise, no, never, even if my life depends on it. Is not that I am afraid of the dead, is that I respect them too much to do it.

I would really struggle hiding in a coffin. I would have to be very desperate and have no other option.

Definitely not, but yeah I guess if it was life and death we all probably could but otherwise, I don't think I'd even like to be in the same room as them.

I think you are right Ben. If there was a choice then I wouldn’t be hiding in a coffin just for the fun of it. But if we are talking life or death, or even threat of severe pain or injury, then survival instinct would kick in and I would end up hidden in the coffin.

If it meant preserving my life, I would be willing to conceal myself in any possible location. However, the idea of hiding might still be unsettling, and I would likely seek out other options.

I would have readily said a loud NO. But I've learned not to say never. You'd never know what situation you'd be faced with tomorrow and the safest hiding spot is a coffin. Would rather choose life you know?

I wouldn't because it was just one person's (Delvin's) idea of escaping the soldiers. I think the disguise would have just worked.

Sure! As long as it still opens from the inside, it could be an amazing hiding place. Though, it would feel nerve wracking to be waiting for someone to potentially open it…in which case you’d be totally exposed and vulnerable. So, maybe more so willing if it was a standing-coffin, Dracula style. Haha!
