I don't think Princess Jarla could have handled the situation alone without Delvin, although she was brave, knew how to make her point, and was a fighter. Delvin's presence of mind and quick response to any tough situation, as well as how fast he discovered and utilized the magical stone, were commendable, even though he was not a member of the royal family and was accused of assassinating the Duke of Hengel. Delvin showed courage and proved himself innocent. I am very impressed by his character. Such characters motivate us in our real lives that having the presence of mind in any situation is so important, and it is important to have self-control in times of problems. :!2: :!2:

There's no way anyone can convince me that the war could've been stopped without Delvin. His magic played a huge role into the whole thing. Without that help they(Delvin, Jarla and Fionella) would have been dead before even they could do anything to stop the war.
