Re: Have You Ever Been Bullied?
We get to view things differently when we're older. The actions we took at 13 are not the same we'd take today. I'm sorry you had to go through that.Romeo Aiyabei wrote: ↑18 May 2023, 19:43 I have been bullied online and called racist slurs online numerous times. I have also, in the past, had other kids say rude things about my skin color at the park and at playgrounds a few times. Luckily, I didn't have to deal with them every day like I would if they were a classmate. I don't think I handled the rude kids the best though. I simply said something rude back. I also didn't tell my parents right away. Now looking back I would do things differently.

Good thing someone stood up for you and your bullies were spared from becoming copper sulfate crystalsOlga Markova wrote: ↑15 May 2023, 13:56 I only experienced once what could be called bullying albeit with some inflamed imagination - when at school, a few classmates were teasing me for never attending PE classes because I was exempt on medical grounds and otherwise I was a top star in all subjects. So they sort of found a weak point. My mum was teaching chemistry to our class so I had some extra weight to bear with my mum treating me most strictly in her class, and because of this complex relationship of being a teacher's daughter generally, I was expected to behave at all times. The taunts did not really upset me so I ignored them but once our young and absolutely stunning arts teacher overheard it. She went straight on to them and said that if they did not stop it, at the next chemistry lesson my mum would turn them into copper sulfate crystals forever, and she would personally see to that they never become human again! I chuckled - those crystals were a part of the practical chemistry and we were all making them and even had an exhibition - amazing looking blue figurines of various shapes! The taunts stopped instantly!

Hope you got over it and showed your bullies their places with your academics and knowledgeRowan the first wrote: ↑23 May 2023, 00:27 I was smart and used to perform well in class and I was bullied because I was not the type that socialised with others. Most of the time I spent my ours in my books and the bullies would bully me because of this.

Same here, like how bad is bullying. Bullies think it's all about what makes them happy and keeps their emotions clear after bullying, but no it s clearly wrong.Mellino Itz wrote: ↑22 May 2023, 09:39 I have never been bullied but I have heard horrible stories of those who have fallen victims to bully. I cant wish that or do that to anyone.

Besides her Grandma, Mary Grace was emotionally strong to deal with the situation before expressing her feelings to Grandma.Kavita Shah wrote: ↑24 May 2023, 22:15 I have not been bullied but I could feel Mary Grace's hurt feeling. She was helpless and it was good that her Granny was there to help her.

Sorry for the experience. Does this affect you until today?Ogunkoya Mayowa wrote: ↑24 May 2023, 18:54 I had also been bullied when I was in primary school. Some children call me “pot head” because I used to do bald haircuts. This always pains me, but they won't stop.

Yea, she is strong girl and she could tell her grandmother, it shows that she trusts them. The bullying really hurt her and she was unable to make it stop. It also shows she didn't plan to keep bearing with the bullying and took action by informing the right people, that, for her, was her Grandmother.NicRoy wrote: ↑25 May 2023, 05:32Besides her Grandma, Mary Grace was emotionally strong to deal with the situation before expressing her feelings to Grandma.Kavita Shah wrote: ↑24 May 2023, 22:15 I have not been bullied but I could feel Mary Grace's hurt feeling.
