Bacon and chocolate sounds amazing! The salty bacon with a bitter dark chocolate. Putting bacon on the shopping list right now.
Diana-Wilson wrote: 23 Jun 2023, 11:23 I am a big fan of bacon and chocolate. Honestly, just about anything with chocolate does the trick for me. I also really enjoy apples dipped in peanut butter. I suppose those food combinations are more conventional... Fried peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are pretty delicious as well!

I don't know if this counts as "weird," but I will dip almost anything in Jalapeño Cheddar dip. Just in the last few days, for instance, I have had macaroni pizza dipped in it, as well as tater tots (which already had alfredo and cheese on them). I am looking forward to trying it with other things as well!

I'm not sure if this is strange, but I make banana sandwich. Just two slices of bread with the banana inside. If I have honey, I will put it on the bread. That's it.

When I am having white rice and fish curry, I like to add a banana in my plate. It is something that my grandma taught me. I like it, and I never understood why people found this strange :)

Haha. So much fun to read about these different combinations of food that I would never have thought about. I don't think I have any such strange food combinations except having one particular type of biscuit dipped in water :D It sounds odd, but I find it yummy.

For me it’s cheese and date sandwich. Trust me it’s better than Nutella and healthier too 😃

In my country, Indian mango is a local variety. It grows in backyards and is not generally available for sale commercially. It is most commonly consumed when the fruit is just beginning to ripen but is still green, crisp, and sour with just a hint of sweetness. It is paired with salty sautéed very tiny shrimp, which balance out the sourness and sweetness. However, I enjoy mine when it is really ripe and sweet, which people I know find strange. I prefer it chilled or blended into a smoothie. Because it is naturally sweet, no additional sweetener is required. For me, it is a refreshing treat, especially during the hot summer months when the fruit is abundant.

I am not really inventive about the food I eat. However, I have a friend that could combine food like watermelon and eggs. I found this funny.

I love rice and beans. While many of you may think it's weird I personally enjoy this mixture of foods. It give me the adequate mixture of carbs and protein.

I like bananas mixed with aloe vera shake which is kind of strange as they both taste very different. But it is good for your health.

My father taught us to eat peanut butter on our waffles (with syrup), and now my whole family only eats waffles this way. We also ate peanut butter and syrup sandwiches. We go through A LOT of peanut butter in our house : )
