When I read this, my mind travels to the fact that no matter what you’re going through, there’s someone out there having it worse. Everyone can help a person, everyone, no matter how bad it is for you, you’ll be surprised by how much help you could render to someone else. I think that was demonstrated in this book.

I have heard the statement "hurt people hurt people" severally and I so much agree with it because I have seen it numerous times. I've watched most of my friends go from being sweet people to bullies and cold hearted individuals just because they were hurt severely.

It was, weirdly enough, when Avery bullied the bully. Cyberbullying is one of those things people shrug at when they don't know too much about it, and I love how Avery put a stop to it when she found out. To be honest, all the characters seemed to be hurting in some way or the other, and they all wound up helping each other.

Avery’s response in that moment showed that she still cared, and I was glad their friendship was renewed.

True. The author did a good job of showing how we can help others even when we are going through a tough time.

Inflicting pain on others aids in revealing the types of people they hang out with. It hurts so much to be the victim. The extent of the betrayal surpasses our comprehension.
