I try to eat and take a walk. I do what I can about my problem and leave the rest to fate. I cry when necessary and allow my self to feel.

Most times when I feel depressed or overwhelmed mostly from work or school, I do some meditation and practice mindfulness, it helps me focus on the present. Also I take long walks in the evening or I call my bestfriend over to do something fun together. I also set realistic and achievable goals that I can handle.

When I feel low or depressed, I usually shut people out, plug in my earphones, and listen to or watch anything that comes to my mind at the moment.

On the flip side, if I feel stressed, say due to a deadline, I remind myself to calm down. After that, I breathe in and out a few times, make a checklist of the steps necessary to complete the work and break them down into smaller, achievable tasks.

Ticking tasks off the checklist helps me feel good, and that, in turn, further motivates me to stay productive.

Listening to music is my mechanism but I recommend people to reach out to therapist for early treatment.

Firstly, I make sure to practice self-care, such as getting enough sleep, eating a balanced diet, exercising, and finding time to relax and unwind. Additionally, I focus on positive thinking and try to replace negative thoughts with more hopeful ones. I also reach out to a friend or family member for support.

Spending time with my mother. There is this beautiful way she can make your problems feel smaller. But other than that, a good book usually helps.

I like to write when I feel bad. I used to write in my diary, but with time I became busy and did not find time for that, and this greatly affected my psychological state, so I try to watch an old movie or read a comedy.
Life is hard on its own so let's make it easier for each other if we could.

If i feel depressed i just look for something to do like a chore, cook, watch movie , dance, listen to music or just read a short novel. Bottom line i just do something and i would get off it.
