Just finished reading the book; took me longer to get through than I would have anticipated given the low page number. The family’s story is interesting and I’m glad that Mark has shared it, but I do think it could have used some more editing or other assistance, as much of it is very dry. 3.5 out of 5 for me

Honestly, I just purchased the book today and have yet to read it. However, from the book cover photo and title description it is obvious that this novel is a heart-felt and compelling story. A child that is diagnosed with a terrible condition as cancer will make any person feel empathy and sadness, especially the mother of the child.

Seeing your child go through such a debilitating illness is not easy. The entire family suffered, including Harry. This was one difficult and heartbreaking book to read but I would definitely recommend it to other parents, especially those who are facing similar challenges. There are nuggets about advocating for your child, being involved as a parent and they might learn a thing or two about how to navigate these difficult challenges.

This book is amazing, heartfelt and inspiring. Little Louis and his family went through so much. Additionally, I am impressed by the writing skills of the father. I didn't expect the story to be so well-narrated. I like that they included their own hand-written notes.
At first, I did not want to read the book. I thought, oh no! I cannot read another tear-jerking story. Yes, it is still emotional, but it is filled with hope. The readers are also learning a lot about medicine, medical procedures and the system. I can't wait to finish the book.

This was an emotional read for me. Breaking Childhood Cancer is a very sensitive subject that requires a lot of focus. I'm glad that the story turned out to be an inspiring one in the end. I love the fact that the writer shared a lot of tips that will benefit any reader. I didn't dislike anything in the book. The writing style of the author was good.
